The Nurture Project
Pathway to Prosperity
The Nurture Project is dedicated to empowering children with the tools and support they need. With a goal of assisting 1,000 students, the project enhances academic performance, emotional well-being, and social integration through personalised educational plans, mentorship, and active community involvement.

The initiative is built on five key pillars:
-
Academic Support
-
Career Development
-
Well-being
-
Skill Development
-
Social Integration
It focuses on continuous student mentoring, guardian engagement, feedback mechanisms, and celebrating student achievements to foster a supportive learning environment. With The Nurture Project, we aim to build self-sufficiency and help students reach their full potential.
The initiative is structured around a multifaceted, personalised support framework based on each student's needs. It incorporates interest-based online hangouts, ‘Buddy Up’ peer mentorship, and exposure visits.
Strong local partnerships and volunteer engagement form the backbone of our initiative. By implementing regular check-ins, progress tracking, and feedback collection, we ensure our support evolves with students' changing needs.
Nurture Project aligns with several SDGs, including:
SDG 1: No Poverty
SDG 4: Quality Education

Marrian Study Centres

Surveys have revealed that a high percentage of students from the rural setting of Palakkad, coming under Chittur (both Taluk and block), fall into the group of the least educated despite the number of government and private schools of the LP, UP and HS levels.
Most of these children come from families whose parents are daily labourers, including the women who work in the farms that dot the region; consequently, the parents cannot follow up on their children's studies.
Marrian Study Centres (MSCs), in their villages, allow them to do their daily studies, complete their homework, and get the assistance of a teacher to understand better their school subjects.
In addition to their scholastic subjects, the MSCs offer them the opportunity of an integral development – physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. This includes assistance in two hours a day for homework and daily revisions, short capsules of video messages, news of the day, conversational English and GK, weekly tests every Saturday and special Sunday activities. The curriculum is specially designed to keep the children focused and motivated.
The Marrian Study Centers align with several SDGs, including:
SDG 4: Quality Education
SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth
SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities
SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals
SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being
Marrian Skill Academy

Marrian Skill Academy is an initiative that empowers individuals to pursue career excellence. Our approach is designed to sharpen the technical, professional, and essential soft skills of students who have completed their formal education and are actively seeking employment opportunities.
The academy offers two training programs tailored to meet the specific needs of our trainees:
-
Training for ITI Graduates:
Our residential training program targets students who have completed their ITI (Industrial Training Institute) courses. We provide in-depth practical training in various specialised fields to ensure that the trainees are well-prepared for the demands of the workforce. Our curriculum strongly emphasises developing essential soft skills, often overlooked in traditional technical training. Additionally, we offer resources to enhance English language proficiency and introduce foundational knowledge of the local language relevant to their employment destinations.
-
Preparation for Government Exams:
The Marrian Skill Academy also serves individuals aspiring to take National and State professional and civil services examinations. Our residential training centre offers a collaborative learning environment where candidates can support one another in their exam preparations. Focusing on providing a quiet and conducive atmosphere for study and research, we ensure students have the time and resources to excel in their competitive examinations.
Marrian Skill Academy aligns with several SDGs, including:
